Keep Looking

This is my first non-“Keep Looking” post here, but there are two reasons.
First off, I recently finished my personal challenge to shoot a photo every day for the whole year. I think 11/18/10 was the last day. I’m pleased with how it turned out. I think it’s a nice body of work that could turn into a publication of some kind. (Working on that.)
Secondly, I’m starting a project that I’ve been thinking about since 2008. It’s called 1,000 Children, and eventually it will be a body of 1,000 portraits of kids from all over the world - 50 kids from each of 20 regions. My first area to shoot in will be Senegal. I’m going there for a month starting in January to teach some photography seminars for employees of World Vision, a great organization that works on the behalf of children in impoverished parts of the world. While I’m there, I’ll be meeting people and their kids and shooting the first 50 portraits in the 1,000 Children project.
So, please click the photo above to look at my kickstarter fundraising site. If you donate a little money, I’ve got some cool incentives.
THANKS!
